The following scholarships are available to engineering undergraduate students.

"I am very grateful to have been awarded the
BECA Part II Engineering Scholarship. This allowed me to encourage
myself and others to make the most of all opportunities presented to us,
and to achieve everything we can. I am studying a conjoint degree in
Engineering (Engineering Science) and Commerce (Operations and Supply
Chain Management, and Commercial Law), and this scholarship money has
allowed to me to not feel financially pressured if I need to take time
off work to focus on my studies or other commitments. Some of my other
commitments include being a leader for the Women in Engineering Network
at the University of Auckland, and playing hockey. Through receiving
this scholarship, I also had the opportunity to attend a presentation
evening at BECA, where I met some of their employees and executive
team."

"I am deeply honoured to be a recipient of
the 2014 Todd Mataga AUEA Award and to be associated with such an
inspiring group of previous recipients. This award enabled me to
graduate with a B.E. (Hons.) degree in Chemical and Materials
Engineering with First Class Honours before pursuing my PhD at the
University of Auckland. I am currently conducting my PhD research on the
use of novel non-thermal technologies to preserve wines by inactivating
spoilage microorganisms. It is my aim, with the aid of my research, to
make a significant contribution to the engineering industry not only in
New Zealand, but worldwide as well."
