PhD Positions @ CSU - People and Robots Laboratory


PhD Openings/Starting Time



The People and Robots Laboratory (PeRL) at Cleveland State University, led by Professor Pooyan Fazli, has multiple openings for PhD student positions starting in Fall 2016 or Winter 2017.

Specific interest areas include

  • Multi-Robot Systems, 
  • Motion Planning and Autonomous Navigation, 
  • Planning under Uncertainty, 
  • Human-Robot Teams/Interaction, 
  • Safety in Human-Robot Collaboration, and 
  • Cloud Robotics.

Eligibility/Expertise

Candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field. A background in AI, Machine Learning, or Robotics would be advantageous.
